Wang Jiafu

Wang Jiafu ,male, born in Nanchong, Sichuan. in February 1931, is professor and doctoral advisor of Law Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He served as member of the Eighth NPC Law Committee, member Of the Ninth NPC Standing Committee, member of Review Group of Law Degree Committee of the State Council, vice president of China Law Society, president of Chinese Association of Civil Law and Economic Law, deputy director of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and advisor of China Maritime Arbitration Commission and so forth. Now he is academician of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, director of Human Rights Center of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, director of Academic Committee of China Law Society, honorary president of Chinese Association of Civil Law, legal advisor of the National Federation of Trade Unions, legal adviser of the Standing Committee of Beijing People's Congress and consultant of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, etc. He engages in legal research and legal education, and he is active in legislation and legal practice.
