On 21 June 2012, Professor Sun Xianzhong, Head of the Department of Civil Law of CASS Law Institute, visited the Swiss Embassy in China at the invitation of the Embassy and participated in a meeting held in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Swiss Code of Obligations. At the meeting, Professor Sun, following a keynote report delivered by Mr. Blaise Godet, the Swiss Ambassador to China, gave a keynote speech which reviewed the 100-year history of the Swiss Code of Obligations and its influence on civil legislation in China. Professor Dr. Hubert St鯿kli at the Law Faculty of the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, submitted a written speech to the meeting.
