“依法治国与法治中国”国际研讨会在京举行
由中国社会科学院主办、中国社会科学院法学研究所承办的“依法治国与法治中国”国际研讨会2014年11月8日至9日在中国社会科学院学术报告厅举行。此次会议是在刚刚闭幕的党的十八届四中全会通过《中共中央关于全面推进依法治国若干重大问题的决定》（以下简称《决定》）背景下召开的，来自芬兰、美国、挪威、英国、日本、韩国、爱尔兰、俄罗斯、波兰、巴西等十多个国家近50余名国际知名法学家、海外中国法学家以及来自全国人大、最高人民法院、中国法学会、北京大学、中国人民大学、对外经济贸易大学、西安交通大学、南昌理工大学、上海政法学院、长沙理工大学以及中国社会科学院的共计80余名专家学者出席了此次国际研讨会。与会者围绕着中国法治建设大业，集思广益，为中国特色社会主义法治建设建言献策，提出了许多对于全面推进依法治国具有重要参考价值的学术观点，取得了预期成效。此次研讨会属于中国社会科学论坛系列“2014年法治国际论坛”，是中国社会科学院为了响应“走出去”战略而精心打造的国际学术交流平台，目前已经产生了广泛的国际影响，成为中国社会科学院创新工程建设的“品牌产品”。更多>>
International Symposium on Governing the Nation According to Law
and Rule of Law China held in Beijing
International Symposium on Governing the Nation According to Law and Rule of Law China hosted by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and organized by Institute of Law, CASS, was held in the academic lecture hall of CASS from Nov. 8 to Nov. 9, 2014. This seminar is tightly connected with the Decision on Major Issues of comprehensively promoting the Rule of Law (Hereafter referred to as Decision) adopted in the fourth Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. More than 80 renowned legal experts on Chinese law and comparative law at home and abroad have attended the conference. The international experts are from over 10 countries such as Finland, USA, Norway, UK, Japan, Russia and so on while local representative experts are mainly from National People's Congress, the Supreme People's court, the Law Society of China, Peking University, Renmin University of China, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and other government organs or institutes. The experts focused on China’s construction in the rule of law, brainstormed each other and proposed valuable suggestions to advance socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics. As a part of CASS Forum, this International Forum on the Rule of law is a well-designed high-standard international academic exchange platform in response to the Going Out strategy of CASS, which has generated a profound international influence and become a brand product of innovation project in CASS.
The conference is divided into two forms: key-note speech and workshop. The Chinese and foreign scholars had heated discussion on many issues such as Rule of Law and Governance, Rule of Law and the Constitution, Rule of Law and Judicial Structural Reform, Rule of Law and Economy-Society Development, etc .
