
The meeting for the final assessment of “Dong Biwu Prizes for Achievements in Legal Research by Young Scholars” was held in the multi-function hall of China Law Society in the afternoon of September 15, 2015. The meeting was chaired by Professor Zhang Xianwen, Vice President of China Law Society and Vice Chairman of the Final Evaluation Committee and attended by other 14 members of the Final Evaluation Committee, including Professor Chen Zexian, Vice President of the China Society of Criminal Law Science and Director of CASS Institute of International Law. At the meeting, members of the Committee adopted by consensus the Draft Measures for the Final Assessment of Dong Biwu Prizes for Achievements in Legal Research by Young Scholars and each signed a letter of commitment, in which they pledged to abide by academic ethics and to treat each submission and each author with fairness. Then, after four hours of assessment, the committee had selected from among a total of 379 submissions one first prize, five second prizes, ten third prizes, and 21 nomination awards.
