On November 25, 2014, a five-member delegation from the Legislative Affairs Office of the Government of Beijing Municipality, led by Mr. Liu Zhengang, the Director of the Office, visited CASS Law Institute and held a meeting with Professor Chen Su, Secretary of the Joint Party Committee of CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law and other researchers of the CASS Law Institute, including Professor Zhou Hanhua, Assistant Director of CASS Law Institute, Professor Chen Jie, Head of the Department of Commercial Law, and Professor Li Honglei, Head of Constitutional and Administrative Law Department. During the meeting, the hosts and guests exchanged opinions on various issues relating to the implementation of the spirit of the decision of the Fourth Plenary Session of the Eighteenth CPC Central Committee and promotion administration by law in Beijing, including the construction of the of government legal advisors system, the implementation of the constitution and constitutional supervision in the field of administration, dilemma of local legislation and way out, measures for the safeguarding major state occasions, and the adoption of a Law on State Capital. The experts of the CASS Law Institute expressed their opinions and put forward legislative and policy proposals on the above issues and received positive response from the members of the delegation.
