On September 6, 2014, a five-member Japanese environmental law delegation, consisting of environmental law experts from Takushoku University, Meiji University and Soka University, visited CASS Law Institute and held a meeting with researchers of the Institute. The meeting was chaired by Professor Mo Jihong, Deputy Director of CASS Law Institute, and participated by professors Ma Xiangchong, Chang Jiwen, Xi Yuemin, Liu Hongyan, and He Jingjing. During the meeting, the hosts and guests carried out in-depth discussions on such issues as researches on ecological law, red-line of ecological protection, subjects of liability for environmental damages, environmental public interest litigation, and treatment of soil pollution. At the end of the meeting, the two sides explored the ways of further deepening the cooperation and exchange between the CASS Law Institute and the relevant Japanese universities and research institutions.
