Researchers of CASS Law Institute Visit the State Administration of Work Safety
In the afternoon of March 17, 2014, Professor Tian He and Professor Lu Yanbin, Head and Deputy Head of the Department of Survey and Studies of National Situation of Rule of Law of the CASS Law Institute, visited the State Administration of Work Safety at the invitation of the leaders of the Bureau and carried out discussion and exchange of views with officials of the Bureau on the issue of disclosure of government information. At the meeting, Professor Tian He introduced the history, current situation and main functions of the CASS Law Institute and the research methods, assessment characteristics and trend of development of the Blue Book on the Rule of Law and indices on government transparency. In light of the work of the State Administration of Work Safety, Professor Lu Yanbin explained in detail the assessment of indices of government transparency and pointed out the achievements made by the Bureau as well as the existing problems in the field of government transparency.
