The book series “Proposed Draft of Chinese Civil Code with Explanations”, an important academic achievement in the field of civil law in China, is formally published by China Law Press. The book series is the main result of the Research Project “Legislative Studies on Chinese Civil Code”, which took a research team led by Professor Liang Huixing near 20 years to complete, and consists of following eight volumes: Proposed Draft of Chinese Civil Code, General Provisions, Law on Real Rights, General Provisions of the Law of Obligations, Contract Law (part I and Part II), Tort Law, Family Law, and Inheritance Law.
