To promote judicial transparency in China, the Research Group on National Situation of the Rule of Law of the CASS Law Institute carried out a comparative study on the situation of judicial transparency and examined the related practices in China and in some other countries and regions of the world, including U.S., U.K., New Zealand, Canada Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong. This book reflects the results of this study. Using vivid graphs, charts and tables, the book visually demonstrates the practice of judicial transparency in some representative countries and regions of the world and taking the successful experience of these countries and regions as reference and using an empirical method, analyzes the progress of and problems in the implementation of judicial transparency in Mainland China. It can be used as reference by Chinese courts in network building and in promoting judicial transparency in China.
