In the morning of September 11, 2014, the “Seminar Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the Adoption of the Constitution and the Establishment of the People’s Congress System”, organized by the CASS Law Institute, was held in Beijing. The seminar was chaired by Professor Mo Jihong, Deputy Director of CASS Law Institute, and participated by near 50 experts and scholars from the Beijing law circle and relevant government departments. Professor Liu Hainian, an honorary CASS member, and Ms. Wu Zeng, Deputy Director of the Department of State Law of Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People’s Congress, each delivered speech at the opening ceremony. During the seminar the participations carried out in-depth discussions on various hot issues relating to the people’s congress system in China.
