In the morning of May 13, 2014, the Fifth Legal Innovation Forum of 2014 was held at the conference room of CASS Law Institute. The lecture given at this forum was entitled “Studies on Reservations to and interpretative declarations on the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights”. It was given by Professor Zhao Jianwen, the Chief researcher of the Innovation project “Studies on China’s Participation in UN Human Rights State Review Mechanism” and chaired by Mr. Li Zhan, an executive researcher of the Project. Ms. Liu Xiaomei, an executive researcher of the project, and Ms. Li Xixia, a research assistance of the project, served as commentators of the lecture.
