Chinese-South Korean Roundtable on Personal Information Protection Law Held in CASS Law Institute

On April 19, 2013, the Chinese-South Korean Roundtable on Personal Information Protection Law was held in CASS Law Institute. The roundtable was jointed sponsored by the CASS Law Institute and South Korean Society for Personal Information Protection Law, with the support of Korea Information Security Agency (KISA). It was organized by the Constitutional and Administrative Law Department of CASS Law Institute as part of the Innovation Project “Research on the Strategy of Strengthening the Construction of a Law-Based Government”. The roundtable, aimed at promoting the legal exchange between China and South Korea and raising the standard of legal protection of personal information in the two countries, was participated by experts and scholars from various research institutions and government departments of both countries. During the roundtable, Chinese and South Korean participants carried out in-depth discussions and exchange of opinions on many important issues relating to the protection of personal information.
