Recently, Ms. Xin Chunying, Vice-Chairperson of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People’s Congress, donated over 200 books to CASS Law Library. Ms. Xin was a former secretary of the Joint Party Committee of the CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law. She donated the books to support the legal education carried out by the two CASS research institutes. The books she donated include authoritative documents on the historical development of the national people’s congress system in China and on the ratification of treaties by Chinese government.
