On December 6, 2014, the Second Innovation Forum on the Construction of the Market Economy under the Rule of Law in China, sponsored by the CASS Law Institute and organized by the Law School of Henan University, was held in the Jinming Campus of Henan University. The one-day forum was participated by 80 scholars and experts from various universities and research institutions as well as officials from various government departments throughout the country. It was divided into three units, namely “Innovation in the Rule of Economic Law and the Socialist Legal System with Chinese Characteristics”, “Law-Based Government, Economic Reform and Economic Law”, and “Innovation in the Teaching of Economic Law and Mechanism for the Training of Legal Professionals”, in which the participants carried out in-depth discussions on the key and hot issues relating to the construction of the market economy under the rule of law in China.
