On October 20, 2014, Professor Chen Zexian the Director of CASS Institute of International Law, met Mr. Jonas Bering Liisberg, Assistant Foreign Minister of Denmark in charge of legal affairs, in Beijing and discussed with him the current development of and challenges faced by the socialist rule of law in China and the achievements made by China and Denmark in exchange and cooperation in the field of the rule of law. Also attending the meeting were Mr. Friis Arne Petersen, the Danish Ambassador to China and Professor Xiong Qiuhong, the head of the Department of Procedural Law of CASS Law Institute.
