Professor Chen Su Meets the President of Lappeenranta University of Technology

In the afternoon of October 16, 2014, a five-member Finnish delegation led by Professor Anneli Pauli, the President of Lappeenranta University of Technology, visited CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law and held a meeting with Professor Chen Su, the secretary of joint Party-committee of CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law and some other scholars from the two CASS Institutes. During the meeting, Professor Chen Su expressed warm welcome to the Finnish delegation and introduced to them the historical development and functions of CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law. Professor Anneli Pauli thanked the Chinese colleagues for the warm reception and gave them a brief introduction to Lappeenranta University of Technology. She pointed out that, although her university does not have a law faculty, it has strong faculties in the fields of science, technology and commerce, which are closely related to law and she expressed the hope to carry out cooperation between the two CASS institutions. Professor Chen agreed with Professor Pauli that interdisciplinary researches on science, technology, commerce and law is necessary and has broad prospects and he explored with Professor Pauli the fields and methods of possible cooperation between the two institutions.
