The first National Competition for “Excellent Academic Works in the Field of Criminal Law Science”(1984-2014) was successfully completed on September 17, 2014. The book “The Global Perspective and Chinese Context of the Death Penalty”, written by Professor Liu Renwen of CASS Law Institute and published by China Social Sciences Press in 2013, won the first prize in the competition.
