Taking “serving the academic circle and providing convenience to readers” as its objective, this book is divided into two parts: “Catalogue of Articles” and “Catalogue of Books”. The former is further divided into eight parts: “General Introductions”, “Ancient Chinese Legal History”, “Modern Chinese Legal History”, “Ancient History of Chinese Legal Thought”, “Modern History of Chinese Legal Thought”, “Legal History of Ethnic Minorities in China”, “Doctoral and Master’s Theses”, and “Legal Documents and Reviews”. The latter is made up of four parts: “Monographs”, “Translated Books”, “Textbooks”, and “Legal Document, Collated Works, Reference Books, and Selected Cases”. The book contains the catalogue information of over 24,100 articles and books on Chinese legal history published during the more than 100 years period from the end of the 19th century to 2010. The compilers of this book strive to achieve the “completeness in cataloguing and accuracy in classification”, so as to provide researchers of Chinese legal history with an easy-to-use reference book that fully reflects the achievements of researches on Chinese legal history in the past century.
