On May 22-26, 2014, the Research Team of the Innovation Project “Strategic Research on Comprehensive Construction of a Law-Based Government”, headed by Professor Li Lin, the Director of CASSS Law Institute, visited Qinghai Province at the invitation of the General Office of the CPC Provincial Party Committee of Qinghai Province to carry out special investigations on “Ruling the Province by Law and Promoting the Construction of the Rule of Law in Qinghai Province”. During the visit, the research team held a meeting with the President of the Intermediate People’s Court of Qinghai Province and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the CPC Provincial Party Committee of Qinghai Province, carried out on-site investigation on legal issues relating to the management of ethnic and religious affairs in Huangzhong County of Xining City, attended the seminar on Ruling the Province by Law and Promoting the Construction of the Rule of Law in Qinghai Province” in Xining City, and conducted field investigations on the cultural construction, environmental protection, and building of eco-civilization in Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.
