On April First, 2014, Professor Sun Xian Zhong, a research fellow of CASS Law Institute and a deputy to the National People’s Congress (NPC), gave a lecture on his participation in the Second Session of the Twelfth NPC at the Workshop of CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law on Implementing the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the CPC and the Spirit of CASS Working Conference. In his lecture, Professor Sun introduced the main items on the agenda of the Session, the main content of President Xi Jinping’s speech given at the plenary meeting of the Shanghai Delegation to the NPC, the results of deliberation by deputies of the items on the agenda, speeches given and opinions expressed by Professor Sun himself on relevant issues during the Session, and the work he had done as a deputy to the NPC during the past one year.
