The Lecture on “Key Issues in China’s Boundary and Ocean Affairs” Held at CASS Institute of International Law
In the Morning of March 4, 2014, Mr. Ouyang Yujing, Head of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited CASS Institute of International Law at the invitation of the Institute and gave a Lecture on “Key Issues in China’s Boundary and Ocean Affairs” at the lecture hall of the Institute. The lecture was chaired Ms. Jiang Xiaohong, Head of Research Administration and Foreign Affairs Department of the Institute. Professor Zhao Jianwen served as the commentator of the lecture. The main issues discussed in the lecture include: territorial entitlement and boundary delimitation; trans-border cooperation, exploitation of resources, and environmental protection; international law issues relating to the implementation of China’s strategies of coordinated development plans for land and sea; and judicial and other resolutions to territorial and border disputes.
