Dean of the Law School of University College of Dublin Visits CASS Law Institute

In the afternoon of March 18, 2014, Professor Colin Scott, Dean of the Law School of University College of Dublin (UCD), visited CASS Law Institute and held a meeting with Professor Mo Jihong, Deputy Director of CASS Law Institute.

During the meeting, the Professor Mo introduced the history of development and the main functions of CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law, and reviewed the legal exchange and cooperation, especially in the field of human rights, between the two CASS institutes and Irish universities and research institutions. Professor Colin Scott gave his Chinese host a brief introduction to the Law School of UCD and its legal exchanges with Chinese universities and research institutions in recent years and expressed the wish to continue the exchange and cooperation with the two CASS institutes.

After the meeting, Professor Colin Scott gave a lecture on "The Challenge of Regulating in Global Regimes" at the CASS Law Institute.
