In the afternoon of July 12, 2013, CASS President Wang Weiguang visited the Law Institute and presided over a debrief meeting in the Institute to hear the reports of work by the directors of several CASS institutes in the fields of political science, law, and sociology. Also attending the debrief meeting were Mr. Zhao Shengxuan, Mr. Zhang Jiang, and Mr. Li Peilin—the three vice-presidents of CASS, Mr. Gao Xiang, the Secretary-General of CASS, and leaders of various functional departments of CASS.

At the meeting, Mr. Chen Su, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law, Mr. Li Lin, Director of CASS Law Institute, Mr. Chen Zexian, Director of CASS Institute of International Law, along with directors of the Institute of Political Science, the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, the National Institute of Social Development, and the Institute of Journalism and Communication Studies, reported to the CASS leaders the work they had carried out and progresses they have made in the study and implementation of the spirit of 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of the CASS Working Conference as well as in the implementation of various innovation projects.
