Abstract: Law-based social governance is an important component of the strategy of ruling the country by law. Currently the rules on social governance has been gradually establishedand the publicity of the rule of law,legal services and public participation in social governance have become more and more common in China.Meanwhile, China is also faced with many problemsin social governance, including imperfect legal system, lack of rule of law thinking, and low level of utilization of rule of law method. In the future work of bringing social governance under the rule of law, China should further improve the legal system of social governance, make an overall plan for the coordinated development of social governance, raise the level of the rule of law thinking and method, and enhance the effect of publicity of the rule of law at the grassroots level.
