Professor Xi Yuemin and Professor Zhao Lei Attend the 21st “Thirty-Person Forum of Economic Law”

The 21st “Thirty-Person Forum of Economic Law” (the Seminar on the Theory and Practice of Economic Law in Regional Coordinated Development), sponsored by the Economic Law Research Committee of China Law Society and jointly organized by the Law School and the Research Center for Law-based State Governance of Hebei University, was successfully held in Baoding City, Hebei Province on August 27, 2020.The seminar was held in a combined online and offline form and attended by about 100 experts and scholars from over 20 universities, research institutions, government departments, law journals and publishing houses in the country, including Peking University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law and CASS Law Institute. At the seminar, which was divided into four units, the participants gave speeches and carried out discussions on a wide range of issues around the topics of “economic theory in the strategy of regional coordinated development”, “economic law system from the perspective of regional coordinated development”, “issues of economic rule of law against the background of regional coordinated development”, and “the functions and missions of economic law at the new stage of regional coordinated development”. Two scholars from CASS Law Institute, Professor Xi Yuemin, Head of the Economic Law Department, and Professor Zhao Lei, Deputy Head of Commercial Law Department, attended the forum and each gave a keynote speech at the third unit of the forum.
