Professor Liu Renwen Interviewed by CCTV on the Fight against the Crime of Telecommunication Fraud
Professor Liu Renwen, the head of the Criminal Law Department of CASS Law Institute, was recently interviewed by the CCTV-13 program “Live News” on the fight against the crime of telecommunication fraud. In the interview, Professor Liu pointed out that the illegal selling of bank accounts has become an important cause of the high occurrence of the crime of telecommunication fraud, discussed the legal consequences of providing bank accounts and other person information to others for the commission of the crime of telecommunication fraud, including criminal responsibilities, civil liabilities and damages to personal credit, and puts forward suggestions on curbing the act of selling bank accounts, including bringing such act into the scope of criminal punishment.
