A delegation from CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law, headed by Professor Li Honglei, Secretary of the Joint Party Committee of CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law and Vice President of the Hong Kong and Macao Basic Law Research Association of the China Law Society, visited the HKSAR to conduct academic exchanges on April 12–15, 2026. Other members of the delegation included Professor Zhi Zhenfeng, head of the Department of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law at CASS Institute of Law, and Associate Professor He Jingjing, an associate research fellow at the Private International Law Department of CASS Institute of International Law.

During the tour, the delegation visited Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Law Schools of City University of Hong Kong, University of Hong Kong, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as other institutions; attended the Asia-Pacific Summit of the World Internet Conference and several seminars; and held in-depth exchanges with experts, university scholars, and alumni representatives of the two CASS institutes in Hong Kong.
