Professor Zhi Zhenfeng Attends the Seminar “Studying and Implementing the Spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC central Committee and Advancing the Modernization of Social Governance”

 

 

The Seminar on “Studying and Implementing the Spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC central Committee and Advancing the Modernization of Social Governance”, jointly sponsored by China Academy of Social Governance and the School of Internet Development Studies of Beijing Normal University, was held in Beijing on November 9, 2019. The seminar was attended by over 100 representatives from various universities, research institutions, social organizations, Party and state organs, enterprises and mess media, including the Publicity Department of CPC Central Committee, the Party School of CPC Central Committee (National Academy of Governance), Research Office of the State Council, State Information Center, CASS, China Society of Social Governance, Alibaba Group, Sogou.com, Meituan, 58 City, Tsinghua University, Communication University of China, Qiush, Guangming Daily, China Daily, and Social Governance.

The purpose of the seminar is to study and implement the new arrangements and new requirements made by the CPC at the Fourth Plenary Session of its 19th central Committee, strengthen and innovate social governance, advance the modernization of state governance system and capacity, and put forward proposals on ways of realizing the long-term stability of the country and the Chinese dream of the great renewal of the Chinese nation. At the seminar, which was divided into two units, the participations gave presentations and carried out discussions around the following two topics: “improving social governance system and advancing the modernization of social governance” and “innovation of state governance and social governance in the digital age”.  

Professor Zhi Zhenfeng, a research fellow at the CASS Law Institute, attended the seminar and gave a speech in the second unit of the seminar.
