Professor Zhao Lei Attends the Seminar on the Drafting of Specific Provisions of the Contract Law Book of the Chinese Civil Code

The Seminar on the Drafting of Specific Provisions of the Contract Law Book of the Chinese Civil Code, sponsored by the Civil Law Research Committee of China Law Society, Law School of Renmin University of China and the Research Center of Civil and Commercial Jurisprudence of Renmin University of China and cosponsored by the Research Center for the Business Environment Law of Renmin University of China, was held at the Law School of Renmin University of China on October 13, 2019. The seminar was attended by over 70 experts and scholars from various universities, research institutions, and legislative and judicial organs, including Remin University of China, Peking University, Tsinghua University, China University of Political Science and Law, CASS Law Institute, Wuhan University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beihang University, Northwest Polytechnical University, University of International Business and Economics, Suzhou University, Hainan University, Henan University of Economics and Law, Qingdao University, Capital University of Economics and Business, the Civil Law Office of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, the Research Department of the Supreme People’s Court, the Higher People’s Court of Jilin Province, and the First Intermediate People’s Court of Beijing Municipality. Professor Zhao Lei, a research fellow and the deputy head of the Commercial Law Department of CASS Law Institute, attended the seminar and served as a panelist at the second session of the seminar - “Loan Contracts, Guarantee Contracts, Leasing Contracts, Financial Leasing Contracts, and Factoring Contracts”.
