Journal of Legal History is a collection of academic papers in the field of legal history jointly sponsored by China Institute of Legal History and CASS Law Institute and jointly edited by the Secretariat of China Institute of Legal History and the Legal History Department of CASS Law Institute. Its content covers such branches of legal history as Chinese and foreign legal histories, Chinese and foreign histories of legal thoughts and legal culture, as well as disciplines that nourish legal history, such as jurisprudence, branch laws, philosophy, history, anthropology, sociology and ethnology. This book is the 15th volume of the journal.Divided into six parts, namely Fronts of Legal History, Legal Culture, Commentaries and Translations, Compilation of Materials, Legal Historians, and Special Commemorations, and containing a total of 12 articles, it aims at reflecting the latest explorations in the field of legal history, demonstrating the colorful landscape of legal cultural research, commenting on academic works, introducing older generations of legal historians, and inspiring future generations to carry forward the academic research work.
