The First Ethos Roundtable: Judicial Practice relating to Electronic Evidence Successfully Held

 

The First Ethos Roundtable: Judicial Practice relating to Electronic Evidence was successfully held online on June 28, 2020.The roundtable was jointly sponsored by CASS Institute of International Law, the Internet Court of Guangzhou Municipality, and Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Institute of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and attended by experts and scholars from CASS, CAICT, the Internet Court of Guangzhou Municipality, Renmin University of China, Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center), Ant Financial Services Group, Tencent, Netease, Qi An Xin Group, Guangzhou Huaduo Network Technology Co., LTD, and Zhong Lun Law Firm (Guangzhou Office). At the opening ceremony, anwelcome speech was given by Ms. Tian Hui, the president of the Internet Court of Guangzhou Municipality. The roundtable was divided into two units, in which the participants gave presentations and carried out discussions on various issues around two topics: “the Internet Industry and E-evidence” and “Blockchain Storage and Dispute Resolution”. At the closing ceremony, Professor Liao Fan, a research fellow and the head of Research Coordination and International Cooperation Department of CASS Institute of International Law,gave a concluding speech in which he thanked the Internet Court of Guangzhou Municipality and CAICT for their support to the roundtable and the experts and scholars for their excellent presentations and expressed the hope that they would continue to cooperate with the CASS Institute of International Law and support its work.
