The Seminar on “Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Ruling the Country by Law in a Comprehensive Way” Held in Beijing

 

 

On June 21, 2015, the Seminar on “Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Ruling the Country by Law in a Comprehensive Way”, organized by CASS Law Institute, was held in Beijing. Over 60 experts and government officials from the Supreme People’s Court, the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC, the National School of Administration, the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Jiangsu Province, Renmin University of China, Zhejiang University, China Institute of Applied Jurisprudence, National Judge’s College, National Proceurators’ College, China University of Political Science and Law, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, East China University of Political Science and Law, Nanjing Normal University, Shanghai Federation of Social Sciences Associations, Shanghai Normal University, CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law. The Seminar was presided over by Professor Mo Jihong, Deputy Director of CASS Law Institute, and divided into four units, in which the participants carried out in-depth discussions on various issues relating to “the Significance of Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Ruling the Country by Law in a Comprehensive Way”, “Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Ruling the Country by Law in a Comprehensive Way and the Modernization of State Governance”, “the Main Content of Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Ruling the Country by Law in a Comprehensive Way” and “the Main Features of Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Ruling the Country by Law in a Comprehensive Way”. The seminar was also attended by over a dozen news media, including People’s Daily, Guangming Daily, Xinhua News Agency, Beijing Daily, People’s Court Daily, Legal Daily, Procuratorial Daily, Global Times, Legal Evening News, Journal of CASS, www.cssn.cn and www.iol.org.cn.
