Dr. Jian Haoxian, the chairman of the Great Bay Area Aviation Exchange Association, visited CASS Institute of Law and held a meeting with Professor Mo Jihong, Director of the Institute, and Professor Liu Xiaomei, a research fellow at the Institute, on June 20, 2019.

The purpose of Dr. Jian’s visit was to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between his association and CASS Institute of Law and CASS Institute of International Law and to promote the healthy development of the aviation industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the further optimization of aviation laws and regulations in China. During the meeting, Professor Mo pointed out that aviation law has strong international nature and involves many different fields and branches of public and private law. With the speeding up of the process of internationalization of air transportation in the Great Bay Area, in-depth research on international aviation law became increasingly urgent. The Great Bay Area Aviation Exchange Association has already made many achievements in the research of international aviation law. In the future CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law will carry out different forms of cooperation and jointly conduct think tank research with the association, so as to contribute to the construction of the aviation rule of law in the Great Bay Area.
