Professor Zhou Lin Visits Munster University in Germany

At the invitation of the University of Munster, Professor Zhou Lin, a research fellow at the CASS Center for Intellectual Property Studies, visited Germany on April 1- May 1, 2019 and gave a lecture on the construction of the credit system in China at the Information and Telecommunications Law Research Institute (ITM) of the Munster University.

In the lecture, Professor Zhou introduced the background of the adoption of the Outline of the Plan of the State Council for the Construction of the Social Credit System (2014-2020) and related legislations and the situation of their implementation, and, through the analysis of a number of typical cases, discussed the achievements made and problems faced by China in the construction of the credit system, especially the lasted developments in data collection, protection of privacy and data protection, and put forward some countermeasure suggestions.
