On December 18, 2019, President Xi Jinping arrived at Macao to mark the 20th anniversary of its return to China and gave an important speech at the airport of Macao. Recently, Professor Liao Fan, a research fellow and the head of Department of Research Coordination and International Cooperation of CASS Institute of International Law, was invited by China Global TV Network (CGTN) as a guest to its studio to participate  in a live program especially made for this occasion. In the program, Professor Liao mainly commented on the achievements made by Macao in its development since its return to China, the successful experience of Macao in implementing the policy of “One Country, Two Systems”, the need for and approach to economic diversity in Macao, the opportunities and challenges brought to Macao by the planning of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the key messages conveyed by President Xi Jinping’s important speech.
