The Awarding Giving Ceremony for Excellent “Belt and Road” Legal Service Projects and the High-end Forum on “Belt and Road” Legal Service, organized by Legal Daily, was successfully held in Beijing. At the ceremony, awards were given to winners of “Excellent Legal Service Cases”, “the Top Ten Legal Affairs Teams”, “the Top Ten Lawyers”, “the Top Ten Law Firms”, and “the Top Five Persons of the Year”. 

At the forum, the participants gave speeches and carried out discussions around the following three topics: “new opportunities of law firms in compliance business against the background of the construction of the “Belt and Road”; “how to effectively construct a compliance management system”, and “how Singapore Convention on Mediation promotes the solution of disputes in the construction of “Belt and Road”. 

Professor Mo Jihong, Director of CASS Institute of International Law, and Professor Liu Jingdong, Head of the Economic Law Department of CASS Institute of International Law, attended the event as specially invited guests. Professor Mo Jihong gave awards to the winners of “the Top Ten Law Firms” at the ceremony and Professor Mo Jihong and Professor Liu Jingdong each gave a keynote speech at the Forum.

The event was attended by over 200 representatives from the Supreme People’s Court, the Ministry of Justice, China Law Society, All-China Lawyers Association, CASS, as well as various arbitration organs, law firms, and enterprises.
