This book consists of oneintroduction and three parts. The introduction mainly discusses the division of the development stages of the criminal law in China. It divides the development of criminal legislation, criminal justice and criminal theory in China in the past 70 years into three stages and gives a brief introduction to each stage of development. The three parts of the book,each divided into three chapters, introduce the development of criminal legislation, criminal justice, and criminal law research, respectively, in China in the 70 years since the establishment of the People’s Republic of China from the perspectives of the process, characteristics and prospect of development, thus presenting a whole picture of the development.
