In 1985, Professor Li Shunde became one of the first patent agents in China and began to engage in research on patent agency and IPR. Since then he has undertaken many key research projects, including Research on the Trend of Development of Patent system in the World; Deveopment and Perfection of IPR Protection System in China; Research on Anti-Monoply Policies under the Socialist Market Economy in china; WTO and IPR Legal System in China; IPR Protection in China after Accession to the WTO; Confidentiality of Sci-tech Information and the Protection of IPR; IPR Issues in the Second Round of WTO Negotiation; Trend of Development of IPR Protection Policy of International Community; Intellectual Property Rights: Protection and Prevention of Abuse. He has also participated in many other research projects, such as State Strategy on IPR. His main Pablications include: IPR Protection for Computer Software and Integrated Circus; Legal Issues in the Assessment of IPR Values (co-author);Introduction to the Revision of the Copyright Law of PRC (co-author); Legal Basis of IPR; Introduction to IPR; Analysis of the TRIPS in WTO; Textbook on IPR; Practice of IPR Protection and Administration; Texbook on the Protection of IPR. He has participated in the drafting and revision of many laws and administrative regulations, including the Patent Law, the Trademark Law, the Intellectual Property Law, the Law on Foreign Trade; the Regulations on the Protection of Computer Software; the Regulations on the Protection of the layout design of integrated circuits and Regulations on the Protection of the Right to Dissemination of Information on the Internet.
