The Network Video Conference “The Epidemic, Fair Competition and the Rule of Law Safeguard” was successfully held on April 25, 2020. The conference was sponsored by CASS Institute of International Law, organized by the Center for Competition Law Studies of CASS Institute of International Law and attended by over 20 experts and scholars from such universities and research institutions as Tsinghua University, China University of Political Science and Law, Shenzhen University, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Wuhan University, and University of CASS.At the opening ceremony, presided over by Professor Huang Jin, Deputy Head of the International Economic Law Department of CASS Institute of International Law, Professor Mo Jihong, Director of CASS Institute of International Law, and Professor Wang Xiaoye, Director of the Center for Competition Law Studies, each gave an opening remark.At the conference, which was divided into three units, the participants gave presentations and carried out discussions on various issues around the topics of “the current situation of the operation of the competition law” and “prospect of the post-epidemic development of the competition law”.

At the end of the conference, Professor Liao Fan, Head of Research Coordination and International Cooperation of CASS Institute of International Law, gave a summarization of the issued discussed at the conference.
