The first lecture of Legal Innovation Forum of CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law in 2019 was successfully held at the conference room of CASS Law Institute on the afternoon of September 10, 2019. The lecture, entitled “Legal Regulation of the Valuation Adjustment Mechanism”, was given by Professor Chen Jie, the head of the Commercial Law Department, CASS Institute of Law and the chief researcher of the innovation project “Basic Strategy of Deepening the Reform of the Commercial System and Approaches to Its Implementation”. In the lecture, Professor Chen discussed the issue of legal regulation of value adjustment mechanism (VAM) from such perspectives as the definition of VAM, the judicial practice relating to the determination of the validity of VAM, foreign experiences and approaches to the regulation of VAM. The lecture was presided over by Dr. Xia Xiaoxiong, an executive research of the innovation project, and attended by 30 persons, including researchers from CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law and graduate students from the Law Faculty of CASS Graduate School.
