The 14th Internet and Information Law Roundtable and the Seminar on the Measures for the Regulation of Online Transaction (Exposure Draft) Held at CASS Law Institute

The 14th Internet and Information Law Roundtable and the Seminar on the Measures for the Regulation of Online Transaction (Exposure Draft) were held at CASS Law Institute on May 18, 2018. The roundtable and seminar were co-sponsored by Internet and Information Law Research Committee of China Law Society and CASS Law Institute, jointly organized by CASS Center for the Study of Cultural Law and the Internet and Information Law Department of CASS Law Institute and attended by dozens of experts and scholars from various state supervisory organs, universities and research institutions, and Internet companies. At the seminar, the participants gave speeches and carried out discussions on a wide range of issues around the theme of the seminar.

The Internet and Information Law Roundtable is a small, pragmatic, transdisciplinary and inter-departmental multi-party meeting mechanism jointly established by CASS Law Institute and Internet and Information Law Research Committee of China Law Society. It is held aperiodically to discuss major issues in the development of Internet and information law in China and to put forward proposals to the Chinese government on Internet governance and construction of the rule of law in the field of Internet.
